Last day and the last two birds I shoot to end the season. My first cinnamon teal also. Their headed for the wall. Also one of my buddies shot two drake cinny teal also...his first also. He thought they were blue wings at first.

Great season this year. I'm going to post my season totals and species when I get a chance. Hope everyone had a great season....dove is what...7 months out? banana2

Congrats. Beautiful day. Very memorable day. We had 100+ blow out of our creek at first shot. Saw more ducks today by a multiple of 2-3x vs all season. Great ending. Ready for some sleep and prep for next year.

That's awesome. Where did you get into the Cinnies? I want one for the wall too. Just don't know where I need to go. I hear that Salt Lake is a good place. Don't want to go that far though.

I won't name the lake but all my duck hunting is on public. The farther you go west into Tx the better your odds though...hint hint. We were surprised to see that many cinny's also. The 2 my buddy shot landed in our decoys at shooting time and we knew they were teal (figured gw teal). We flushed them up and he got 2 while I got diverted by another duck....spooner! So he got 2 cinny's and I got a spooner lol. Later that morning we relocated and I was all alone on a creek slough. I had 2 ducks come in, the 2 cinny pair. Funny thing is I almost let them get out a little further cause they were so close but my brain kicked in and I shot both at 10 yards...and both were in good shape! Nice how that worked out. as I was motoring back to pick my buds up I flushed at least 10 cinny's along the creek.
