Recently bought a Molot VEPR AK 47. Just love it -but- want to add the Magpul Zhukov furniture to have adjustable stock and forend that I can add rails to.

Is anyone here familiar with this or have added these?

Are you aware of anyone who is an AK 47 expert? Called a couple of gunsmiths I know and could not get any help.

Thanks!

It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!

Zhukov handguard on Vepr will require some extensive mods. You have to modify barrel bands and heat shield in part close to the receiver to make it fit. It is all possible to make it happen, but this isn't 10 minutes project.

texas I am allergic to stupidity. You can't fix Stupid, but you can occasionally head it off before it hurts someone.

It's going to be really hard to get that hand guard on your vepr. You'll have to take it to a gunsmith. Veprs aren't technically your traditional AK47 but molot has modified them to accept AK47 mags. PSA has AK47 build kits for like 350. I'd suggest leaving your vepr alone and just build a Zhukov AK from stratch.

A real hunter never returns empty handed. Spending time in the wilderness temporarily satifies the soul, but leaves us longing for more.
