Looking at buying a Cynergy before next season. Never owned an O/U. Shot a couple only a handful of times. Looking for any Pros/Cons. Obviously, it's not going to have the 3rd shot but, the only other con I've heard is that it can be awkward to reload in a tight blind.
I've considered the SBE3 but if I go the cynergy route, I'm sending my Vinci to Rob Roberts for a full workup so I'll have a semi option on days I want it.
Thanks for any info.

I'm very interested in the feedback you get. I guess I would've never considered the cynergy a dedicated duck gun.

Cynergy is my dedicated hunting shotgun for anything that flies. I love it. It fits me like a glove.
You are right you only get two shots. Reloading ease/speed is simply a matter of practice.
Pros - two shots make you think carefully about the shots you are taking. Absolutely reliable. absolutely reliable. Did I say it was a reliable workhorse/tool. Easy to clean/disassemble/reassemble.
If it fits you, it cannot be a bad choice.

I should say, I also own a SBE II and a 828U, amongst others. The SBE II is a perfect hunting shotgun. I still pick up the Cynergy every time.
(Well, I had to shoot a pheasant with the 828U this year, so I hunted it half a day before feeling adulterous and switching back to my Cynergy for the rest of the day.)

I bought my first cynergy for dove hunting many years ago. It fits me perfectly in the factory configuration and they are adjustable to fit anyone. As we all know, fit is extremely important in wing-shooting. The inflex recoil pad really reduces felt recoil to a manageable level. I loved my first one so much that I bought one for duck hunting. It goes bang twice every time. No worries about jamming or failures to feed/eject. Lastly, they are beautiful and you'll look extra cool just holding one. IMHO

Years ago I kept seeing ding Dong aboves avatar, so I always shot 20 ga for dove, but for duck I figured I'd buy a new 12. I asked fw above about his a few times, and went and bought my own. I use a citori white lightning for dove in 20 and a 12 ga cynergy specifically for duck

I'm a big fan of mine - the damn trigger guard is loose though for some reason. I bounce back and forth between the cynergy and my super vinci. If I'm hunting a layout blind or jumping a tank I take the vinci; anything else I take the cynergy.

Love mine 20 for dove, but I don't duck hunt with it much. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a non-camo, blued cynergy and then getting it cerakoted to keep the rust off.

The trigger gaurd is common. Take the butt stock from the rear off, there a set screw that keeps it tight. Mine did the same thing. I've only had to tighten it once. Really easy fix

Ordered a 28" in ShadowGrass Blades today.
Can't wait!
Now to figure out what I can still afford to do to my Vinci.

I like the gun. Only thing that agitates me is the stock butt piece. I can't get use to it. My go-to O/U is my Browning 525 Sporting. Only bought it because I use to do a lot of competition clay shoots. I use it for dove hunting too sometimes. I shoot my buddies cynergy and I just can't get over the way that stock butt fits on my shoulder.

Cabelas quoted me $1799 before I bought mine. So did another place in town.
Ended up ordering it from Able Ammo.
No tax Free Shipping $1599 when I ordered.
Had it shipped to a guy at work with an FFL.
