Looking for an aftermarket choke to shoot #4 buck at coyotes or pigs if they happen by.
Stoeger pump 3-3.5 mag, 28" barrel.

I have a stock turkey choke and pretty sure its safe for lead 4 buck. Thought I would ask opinions here before I patterned it.

Or

A completely aftermaket system?

It ain't easy being me.

Take a look at the Carlson Dead Coyote choke tube. That's what it's made for.

What #4 buck you using? Specifically?
If not buffered, the deformation of pellets is going to make long-range accuracy poor (and choke irrelevant).

FWIW, I've had great luck with Remington #4 buck 3" buffered (41 pellet) with just a plain modified choke.

Only way to know is to pattern it.

Good question, I shoot #4 buck when I'm predator hunting a tight area. If I'm doubling up w/ a buddy, 1 runs a rifle & the other a shotgun w/ #4 buck. I just use my modified choke but I really should invest in another choke. Kicks makes a darn good turkey choke, have one for my 870. Cattle - have you used a Kicks choke for 4 buck & if so, which one?
