I sent the last picture to the S.O. they might be hunting/scouting which worries me. They do have writing on the rear door.

The last two photos are photos of someone looking to hunt. Company trucks nearly 95% of the time have logos so there is no confusion. Legitimate folks in the oil and gas industry dont want to be shot or shot at so they put logos are their trucks and give notice to the landowner.

I would still be suspicious of the second truck, but if you look closely it does have some sort of logo or emblem on the extended cab doors of the truck on both sides. Can see it fairly well ( not readable though) in the pic by the feeder but if you look closely, you can also barely see it in the second pic. Propably wouldn't notice it in the second pic if a person hadn't already seen it in the first pic.
Looks to be the same emblem on both sides.

Oil/gas line trucks often carry a 4-wheeler around for checking lines in rough areas. But like everyone else I would still want to know what the heck they're doing just driving around, especially if there is no line in that particular area.

I found 4 wheeler tracks on my place last year. Someone had lifted the pasture gate between my place and the neighbor. I checked with the hunters leasing the place next door. They said not them. I did some calling around. Comanche Electric had a contractor checking the power poles for rot. They said he should not have lifted the gate off the hinges to cut through the pastures. More and more reasons to have game cameras all over the place and not just on the feeders. I agree with a previous suggestion to locate a camera to pick up the license tags. I have a bad feeling that with the economy tanking that theft is going to increase as people get more desparate.

Oil business folks are required to give notice before coming on the place...you would know if was Oil folks....the second truck could be a contractor of AEP clearing lines, that would explain the entire story, I did see lines in the back ground and they may use the 4wheeler in impassable areas

Actually no we don't have to give landowners any notice at all. If we have a well on your place and the lease is current we have access 24/7. The exception might be a large game ranch where you have to check in, but it will be with security and not a landowner. We do have to stick to the lease roads though. On the other hand the really old leases don't have lease roads so it can get to be a guessing game if you've never been on the property. I have seen a few really old wells tucked way back in the back of a property with no roads within a mile.
That second truck doesn't look to be an oilfield truck. No tool boxes and just a half ton. If it is it would be a company mans truck, but he would have no reason for a 4 wheeler. My bet would be a surveyor.

^^^^ such rough neck jargon lol. and he is right, if there is a well and or pipeline, then the lease stands so people can come out there anytime. gotta bunch out on our land, always dealing with em!! the gauger at the well right next to one of my blinds would always bring apples and stuff, the deer loved em!!!!

Had some oil people driving all over the place I hunt in DeWitt co. last season.

Saw a guy on an ATV use the gate right near my blind, and then a couple weeks later two gigantic trucks were driving all over the property, and then drove through that same gate while I was in the stand.

Talk about the ground shaking, and never saw any deer for the several weeks they were in the area.

When they finally left the deer were everywhere.

They pay big bucks to look for oil, and they will drive all over your property and there isn't much you can do about it.

I'd say that last truck was oil field and they might have messed up and got on your place by mistake.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Here is where it pays to have a good working relationship with the land owner. Call them and ask who has permission to be on the place. In Jimbo's case, the deer do get use to tractors, trucks and daily noises.

It looks like one of those combo passenger backrest/storage box units with a tree stand strapped on behind it.

I think he said he is the landowner, so he would know if any oilfield guys were supposed to be on his property.

But, good advice for those who are leasing...

Don't know where you came up with this. I worked for an oil & gas company (#2 in the US) for 30 years and we never had marked trucks. Do you know how many folks would TRY to have an accident with a company such as this for lawsuit purposes?

If it makes you feel any better the driver with the ATV isn't wearing camo.
