I'm looking for a Weimaraner breeder in Texas where I could get a pup or young started dog. They must come from parents that are hunting dogs and not just show dogs as there is a big difference, especially in the Weimeraners. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Go to www.versatiledogs.com because not only is the discussion forum a great resource but also under the "Kennels" tab there are five pages of Weim breeders (on page 5 you'll see that two of them are located in TX). Most folks associated with that site are dedicated to hunting stock, and you could probably get folks to send you PMs about specific breeders if you want to solict references that way. Good luck.
