Just go huntin.Frosty mornings will give you a turn around. Hunger will set in. Gotta move more. Animals are bunchin up and the secondary rutt is almost here
Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

Ive killed more bucks over 160 after Christmas than before. Gotta move and the monarchs like the secondary for some reason.

The woods get quieter this time of year. I honestly think thats why the big ones come out more. Real hungry and less hunters. Plus in your favor there is less follage blocking your view.

Yeah running out of time and just about out of venison Boy aint this the truth. The only thing moving during the day on my E Texas Lease are those famous 150lb squirrels. Good luck to you - Im going to try and squeeze one more hall pass out of the wife for a final go myself. Otherwise, no more venison for me!

Same thing here. A few bucks of similar size at the food plot and corn during the middle of the night, but we're lucky if we see a doe during daylight hours, and that only happens about one in five days.

I killed my biggest East Tx buck on the very last day of deer season a few years ago. It had been frigid and windy for 2-3 days and raining. That day was clear/sunny and cold. I saw close to 15 deer that day. Oh, and I killed him sitting in a lawn chair on the ground. Had some does walk right behind me (10 yards) and it was like they didn't even care that I was there because they were so hungry. Heads were down searching for acorns.

Get back on the travel route coming in to your feeder. Set up off the trail early in the afternoon and you will get a shot on him at some point.
Deer move all during the day, it is just that they are not moving where you are hunting.
Good luck!
Mathews Z7 Bow for Whitetail and Hogs Remington R-15 .223 REM for predators I also like to "hunt" sporting clays with my Benelli SuperSport!

Funny thing is this is just on a trail by our pond on the property, nowhere near any feeders. I have cameras on the feeders and have not seen a buck there. The surrounding land is national forest and I've hunted the areas filled with oak trees yet still haven't seen a deer in the daylight

Not seeing a lot of them on 'camera', but the camera doesn't get all of them. Went and scouted out the area where I have my Daughter's Stand and saw 3 bucks, none of which walked in front of the 2 cameras I have in that area. All were traveling, none stopped to browse either the food plot or corn broadcast about. This back in a wooded area that I have thinned out. Have seen none (in the daylight) out in the pastures or on the edges in the last couple of weeks.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

I have a few that are staked out on my place (Nac Co). One is busted all to heck and trying to breed everything in sight, another is addicted to gravity fed corn and the other one needs to get shot. There's a bunch of yearlings mixed in this year, but I'll worry about them later on down the road.
Some scrapes heated back up after the front blew through.
