Three year old spikes very rarely happen. Once a spike always a spike is something the old timers believed. Almost never the case. yup.

1.5 for sure. Let him grow a year ago least. Good chance he will sprout forks and brows next year. Agree with 1.5 but disagree on a pass. Cull him while you can before he spreads his genes, real good eating at that young age. As mentioned before 2 good years of rainfall and habitat, he will never improve only degrade your herd
