Got a buddy asking for some references for an upland dog in Oklahoma - anyone have any experience with dog trainers/breeders around that area?

Ronnie Smith in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. I'd drive a long way to take my dogs to him.

He is further north than Tishomingo, but avoid the Sooner Express Kennels guy. Slickster messed a buddy of mine around pretty good

Ronnie Smith has one of the best repatations in the industry.

Rick used to be in South Texas, he's in Virginia now. Ronnie guides hunts in South Texas but his kennels and training grounds are in Big Cabin, Oklahoma.

Yep. Ronnie guides for the Mariposa. My friend Chris is friends with Ronnie. Chris and I were hunting on his lease on the East ranch and staying in Falfurrias. We met Ronnie and his wife for dinner.
