I was just given 5000 federal premium gold metal small rifle match primers (gm205m) and 1000 small pistol match primers (gm100m). My question is are they any different from the standard federal small rifle and pistol primers as far as load data goes? They don't say they are magnum primers so I assume that I don't need to reduce the charge because of them! Am I correct in that assumption? Are they just standard primers but a match quality? Just curious because I've never used them!

Same data, just supposedly better consistency. Congratulations.

Awesome, thanks so much. That's what I figured but just wanted to double check.

Match primers are reputed to run at a more consistent temp when they ignite; they're not hotter, just more consistent. Having said that, whenever I switch to a primer or powder that I've not used before, I drop back the powder charges on my favorite loads about 10%, load up 5 rounds, and run 'em through, checking very carefully for pressure signs. I know that my approach is overly cautious, but IMHO, worth the effort to do so.

Same here. Useless in this case? Maybe. But I do it anyway.

I'd be surprised to see a difference...but I think one of the main objects of this game is to not be surprised. Personally, I'd drop back about a grain in a small cartridge and maybe two grains in a large one and work back up.
