Similar to a mouflon but the horns are shaped somewhat like an aoudad.

Interesting animal....and apparently....expensive to hunt....$4000 - $6000 at some Texas ranches!

Have you tried to contact Larry Wick in Weimar, TX. He has some good red sheep and mouflon. We used to get them from him years ago when we needed them.

I know where 9 ewes and 5 babys are the ewes will be 400.00 each and the babys will be 150.00 each.

Great animal and very hard to find pure. I was lucky enough to take one free range! Also known as the Alborz Red Sheep. For the sheep hunting enthusiast, can be a real elusive trophy to add to the collection.

There shoudl be a link to Majestic mouflan on the site, that is the same guy. The red sheep weren't listed on the site last time I looked, but are next door at his dad's place. When i went hunting there I talked to him about them and he said they were pure. There were several Red sheep out while we were hunting that from as best as I can tell (which doesn't account for much) looked pure.
