Dec 10 works for me. We will have a new commander in chief by then. I'm sure many humorous anecdotes about them will be shared after much man drink. I am sure there will be plenty to say about her

I for sure won't be able to do Dec 10th-11th. I'll be running very very very far that weekend at a state park. But hell I said I was a long shot to be able to go anyway. Would still like to catch up with some of you guys. You need to get your priorities straight Marc. What man would rather run than go duck hunting  Haha...yeah I'm pretty sick. Hell I missed opening day of dove season this year for the first time ever...but it's because my daughter was in the hospital....I was all set to go. Oh well. But yeah since I've started trail running my hunting has gone way down. Either way I think in the end whether it's hunting, camping, hiking, or trail running the common denominator is I love being outside in nature. My buddy lives in CO and was asking if I wanted to go elk hunting with him next year...I was like hell yeah but I'm not going to actually hunt...I just want to be out there. The older I get the less I care about killing...I really just want the birds or whatever I'm hunting for the meat so limits mean nothing to me...and obviously just getting out. Hell I could go duck hunting and take a camera now and be fine with that. Of course the social aspect of it has always been great too...if I get to hear the funny stories Wal is telling and hearing them make Garrett laugh I'm winning.

Stevelabo that's what this entire trip is about. I have met some spectacular people on this forum. Garret, Hogman, Dave Speer and the list goes on. Just plan on going and we will find a spot for you. I have a big grill there now. I will be making the gumbo again for Saturday night.
