What a hand howitzer. Not very fun to shoot but it can reach on out there. Here's a 127 yrd target he hit with it first time and freehand.

Good shot.
Those are a lot of fun and heavy which you want when touching off some 460 rounds. Part of the beauty of that combination is the versatility being able to use less powerful rounds: 454 Casul is a very good hunting round more powerful than 44Mag 45LC there are multiple loadings for
With cowboy action loads in a 460 revolver recoil to be very light perhaps even less than a 38 special fired from a 357 revolver. There is a lot to be said about a 5lb revolver helping soak up recoil
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

A friend of mine just took delivery on a Taurus Raging Bull 500. He invited me out to shoot it this morning. I thanked him kindly, but remembered that I had a lot of things I needed to do. Like, wash my hair; do a load of clothes; mow the lawn; and fill the bird feeders. I did ask him for a post-shooting session report. Shooting full load 45 Colts out of my Judge is just about as much fun as I want to have with hand cannons! I had a brief but troubled relationship with Ruger's 480 when they came out in 2003-2004. It was a punishing thing to shoot, and the damage it did to feral hogs was astounding. But I was/am too big a wus to get any fun out of shooting it.

I love my 460XVR pushing 300 grain Cast and 275 grain hollow points at 2100 fps. It lays the smack down on some pigs.
I don't find recoil to be that bad

I had a TC encore in .308 and after that I kind of swore off handcannons.
That's a heck of a shot though, bet it's got some knockdown power that's for sure.
