I need to get a safe and went looking around. Academy has the 24 gun American Security safe with the digital lock (model number TF5924) on sale for $589 until saturday (normal is $699 and retail is like $850 or something). Its nice and heavy and has a 30 min fire rating. Seems like a good price, but since this is my first safe im not 100% sure what to look for.


if you need to know, i have 7 or 8 rifles/shotguns (still waiting on my AR.....), a few pistols and a few thousand rounds of ammo im wanting to store in it. im not worried about how it is setup inside as i will probably cut out some new shelves for it. Just looking for something that i can lock up my guns and know they are safe while im not home. thanks for your help!

Well I lied. It was actually a Cannon American Eagle Series 24 gun safe. I went ahead and picked one up as i dont think ill beat the price and it seems to have a great lifetime warranty on it (even against break-in attempts). I'll see how it lasts.
