Hammer time... forging weekend

I fired up the forge a bit this weekend. Forged a spring fuller, a new set of tongs, and six knives before I ran out of propane. https://vimeo.com/179757499The knives are 1084 on the full tang and two of the stick tangs, W2 on the skinny one and another stick tang, and 5160 on the bowie.

Those look good Jason! I've always wanted to try my hand at forging. I have the forge and a good anvil. What I don't have is good shoulders . They just wouldn't stand up to swinging a big hammer on hot steel.

Here are the forged knives after grinding. This pic was just before heat treatment. The knives on the top of the pic are stock removal.
