Need some advice. Building a shed with a single slope roof. Want 5 bays for boat, tractor, travel trailer and two spares. Largest item is the travel trailer which is 33.5' long x 11.5' tall w/ AC x 8' wide. How long should I make shed? How wide should I make shed? How high should I make shed at front and back? Thanks!

the drop needs to be about 1' for each 20 feet of length ---------- keep in mind you will need to clear light bulbs in the ceiling and whatever else------- I have never heard ANYONE complain that their garage was too big and they wish they had built it smaller. .

Most semi-trailers are around 13'6". If you think you might ever need to put one under it (like a load of hay) you could plan accordingly. If you don't use some of those items very often, you could go longer and put the tractor and boat in the same bay. Might also be nice if one bay was a pull-through. Go 17' at the front, 15' at the back (would allow for door hardware, see pic), 50'x40' with 4 10' bays.

Especially in north tx where you can get ice Yes it is, typically the minimum slope for a metal roof is 1/12, 1in of rise per 12in of run. So if you had a 40' wide single slope roof it would be 40inches lower on one side than the other.
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

A 3 & 12 pitch would be the lowest pitch I would do. If building is 36 ft wide take half 18 ft times 3 the peak is 54" taller, roof style like photo by Quitshootinyougbucks. If doing a shed roof slope only one way I would still use the 3/12 pitch minimum. JMO
