Made a thread before about vac/ dust collection system in my shop I am remodeling. I have a 2hp 1550 CFM unit. I am going to make a baffle system to run it off everything but saying that they entail test I did went better than expected. It ended up being 45' give or take with expandable hoses

This what I was needed picked up

The plumping is elementary but this was just a test run, once I run it to all machines with baffles it will be better. I am a one man shop so I will only be using one machine at a time and they make remote systems for fairly cheap

The back room is on the list to redo bang

Wouldn't that thing be easier to work with if it was on a table?

Looks good! I would suggest cutting in some additional drops / futures in case you need to vac other areas.

I know on my central vacuum system for my wood-working shop, I had to run a bare ground wire through each branch of the vacuum line between and grounded to the vacuum and to and grounded on the electric tool itself (such as a table saw) to prevent static discharge and a possible sawdust explosion. Not sure if the stuff your fooling with is flammable or finely dusted enough to potentially have a dust explosion but something to think about.

Oh I am going to man. I have a bunch of T's and 90s to add for extra machines and I will probably drop it under the rafters as well. This was just a test to see if it would do what I needed it to do

Alright so back to this. As of right now I am mainly cutting plastic which I do not think would be combustible like sawdust. Saying that I might be wrong. But here lies the issue I can not run the line inside the pipe because it mounts to a deal on my CNC that I have to remove every time to change the bit. So I don't wanna have to undo a ground each time. Does it "have to be inside it" or is the concept just connecting two machines. When I plumb to all the sawdust machines I could run it inside, but then I wouldn't be able to close baffles.

So what do I do

at the point where you put the baffle drill a hole and run the wire outside for a few inches then drill a hole and run it back in. Deal with silicone. confused2
