Big Pines, on Caddo ((Lake), has really good catfish and frog legs. That's the only place I ever eat out that way.

That is where I was talking about in Uncertain, Tx on Caddo Lake.

OK, hear me out before you through me out.

If you and the family are looking for a good
place to eat and one or more of you want some
very good catfish and the others may not,
Texas Roadhouse would be a good option for you.
I'll not claim it's "the best" but it is VERY GOOD,
the portions are plenty and they're easy to find.
Again, it ain't the typical recommendation for
catfish (out of the way, limited availablity, fish only)
but it is a very good option. I like it alot.

(note, this review was made from the McKinney Tx location)

A place that has been opened for about 8 months now in Carrollton is Catfish House...Its at the corner of Old Denton and Frankford Rd..It may not seem much from outside but it has really GOOD Catfish,Shrimp and Oysters..All are battered with a light cornbread coating...The fillets are large and fried to crispy, not soggy..I will say thought, the fries are nothing to write home about, actually disappointing..BUT on the appetizer menu you can get a order of fried crawfish tails that is a a meal itself!!

TOP CAT .... IRVING

I was scrolling to see if anyone knew the best catfish place in town and Rick O' Shay is the winner.

Winner, winner, catfish dinner!

DFW has a few Top Cat locations, mostly in 'da hood, yo.

They DO have the best catfish hands down. They will even fry you a whole cat, which is the best.

Corienne's Catfish and Pies in Lewisville, Tx. I don't like real thick pieces of fish and this place does it right. Fairly thin fillet and very crispy when it comes outta the fryer. Some of the best fried okra I've ever had. Pecan Pie and Peach Cobbler is really good too.

Not fried catfish but I've had the grilled catfish as well as the grilled trout at Prairie House in Roanoke and it is very good. They have excellent fried catfish as well - I just like the grilled better.
