Gosh, Arlene's was good too.
But it was not as good as The Crow's Nest...... man, back in the mid-late 80's I could get my monies worth there on Friday nights..... Wow... Lot's of dates and memories back in the day...

windys is still in arlenes old place in oklahoma and it was still awsome the last time i went.
When you need a Piano moved there is always someone around to help you with the stool!

Hutchins BBQ and Catfish in McKinney is pretty good.
There is a all you can eat place we go to every once in a while out in Miller Grove I think it is Stacey's Fish Fry. Only open on Friday and Saturday but it is real good.

The guy who started Windy's was a cook for Arlene a long time when she was in the platter flats building...
Windy's was in Cartwright as you drive across the Denison Dam....Ate there once...25yrs ago....went back to Arlenes

Fox Hollow on Possum Kingdom Lake. Fried or Blackened are both good with a few cold ones.

KBTXHunter and I tried Soda Springs catfish yesterday. It was pretty good. There was a place in Tin Top that had excellent catfish. It was called Mary's, (not to be confused with Mary's in Strawn). I have not been there in two years or so, maybe it is still there.

I know what you're saying though, we don't have the most "Asthetically Appealing" look in town, but Catfish Heaven is the best place in town to eat!! Gotta love the secret recipe coleslaw!!!
