They stun wasps long enough to where you go step on them. I haven't tried rock salt yet though.

Don't go over kosher salt grain size. Larger rock salt gets stuck or you end up only getting 2-3 "pellets" per shot.
Also, if you just pull the trigger hard enough, it will defeat the stupid auto-safety.

I've sure not been able to find any of these "guns" for $20! Mostly 2X to 3X that much! Even Primary Arms says they're out of stock and will be coming back, but at $50!! Anyone found any bargains on these things?

They have yellow and camo at Cabela's checkout. Yellow is cheaper. Camo is 40 ish.
The tablespoon fifty shots thing is referenced on the box. It's the mag capacity, fifty shots. I estimated one heaping tablespoon in the mag well.
A Salt Rifle always has a fifty bullet clip that can be fired in 3 seconds killing everything in range. Everybody knows that.
