As a rug? Nope. Throw that thing over the back of a chair or couch and you are in business. Have a bobcat hide used in the same manner.

Make a hat or a satchel out of it. Yours turned out a lot better than the one I just home tanned. MY first attempt though, next time Ill know what Im doing!

I think you did a good job of preserving it. The only parts that may have been better would have been to leave off the head and feet.

I think you did a good job of preserving it. The only parts that may have been better would have been to leave off the head and feet. X's 2, I'd lay in on a coffee or end table, just to small for the floor.

Just a suggestion but you could cut off the paws, drill a hole in the claws and make a neckles for your wife and throw the hide over a chair back.

Pretty cool!! No way I could be even close to that good unless I paid a taxidermist to walk me thru it..... And yes I have done that before.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

For home tanned it looks pretty good to me. I would cut the paws off and trim/shape the edges and hang it on a wall o something.
It is fun to work on your own stuff, I applaud your efforts!
