Texas Parks and Wildlife is giving us the opportunity to give input on hunting regulations. There are several proposed changes including lengthening migratory seasons, adding muzzle loader seasons, and adding doe days. Let your voice be heard. http://tpwd.texas.gov/business/feedback/public_comment/

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I would be for a longer dove season. my deer feeder twice a day looks like a scene out of a Hitchcock movie.

i would love to see the bag limit for deer reduced to two deer only. one buck[spike or 13in or greater] and one doe. seeing bigger bucks but fewer deer every year.

Seems like Cooke, Grayson, Denton, and Collin counties are void of dove hunters after the traditional open weekend "drinking & shooting" session. Several years back I drove to Dublin almost every week and saw no signs of hunting after opening weekend. Not certain that many people would take advantage of longer season but JMHO.

Why not make it 2 deer, only 1 of which can be a buck? That way a guy like me that just wants meat could pop a couple of does and leave the deer with antlers for those that care about them?

I had 54 deer in front of me one afternoon on my 59.4 acre place. One buck/one doe wouldn't work.

He says he is seeing less deer. Why would they want to kill more does?

Redchevy i was refering to hopkins co. sorry i guess i should have postd were im at. We keep seeing fewer deer every season and only saw 1 buck and 1 doe and i hunted alot this year. even took a week during the rut. we had alot of flooding this year and i hope that was the reason but i dont think so.

Id like to see more restriction in Medina County, 1 buck and two does, or better, AR since it is currently a 3 buck county- South of Hwy. 90

I dont mind the taking of does but 2 does and 2 bucks is to many for hopkins co. in my opinion.
