Yes he did

He didn't screw anyone out of money, it was a generous gesture from the forum to help him in a time of need. He was just a db about the donations and didn't feel the need to thank anyone for the generosity given to him.

Could be, he said his wife burned down the place while cooking I think. Who knows.. the whole story was suspect but quite a few members stepped up to help him out and he basically just didn't give a damn about the effort. Good riddance

Me and little T-Rex talked about him the other day.

I’ve really thought deep about this over the years, I fell into being angry about his lack of response later on. But then I really thought about the why’s. Did I really care, absolutely not. I let others influence my thoughts.

Coolie did some work for me, he wasn’t a meth guy. He laid a lot of tile and worked his [censored] off 7-7 for 6 days straight.

Coolie accomplished what he had in life via hard trades labor. I respect that. I felt like later on he under charged me on the quality of work he did for me, compared to work I have done after. There where a few people, one in particular that immediately pushed him into a corner on the thank you. Why? Public Perception of himself? Had Coolie had enough time to take it all in yet, to comprehend some of his daily antagonists where extremely generous in concern and monetary offerings. I don’t know. I’m not coolie, I didn’t grow up like coolie. That’s a lot to loose. Start adding that loss including the way he lost it. It’s a lot to watch a love one wreck them selves day in day out and still stand by her, then have her burn down everything you had. Now you have random strangers whom that you have virtually engaged and argued over deep fundamental differences, change pace and come to your aid. That’s a mountain to take in all at once. I hope both him and her found peace and are well and happy

I’m not making or trying to make excuses for him, just more my personal look back at it all after some time has passed.
