Those bases look huge. Do they taste much different than your typical beef? I would imagine a bit of a game taste but other than that...?

Massive animal I have only encountered one Watusi and I was on horse back. One of the meanest dang animals I have ever encountered.

Never hunted one but they are fun to photograph..... from a distance!

Those look like a watusi/longhorn cross. That seems pretty popular (my wife wants one for a pet!)

Great eating. Pretty much like lean beef (which they are beef). Used cuts of mine exactly like I would use a steer.

A Watusi is a cow, it is from Africa. I see them roaming around in Nigeria when I am there.

30 yrs ago the Nunley/Briscoe Ranch Gerts (Santa Getrudes cattle) were wild devils that would stomp a mudhole in yer ace easy... we loaded them in double-deck cattle trailers... wild as deer.. Watusi, like the Cape Buffalo are bovines...
