Beer, Wine, Bourbon for Christmas and nice framed photo of a place on their property (ie. sunrise, a good hunt, group pic) at the end of the season. That is what I do every year on top of paying for the leases.
There's always someone with more money, so we gotta take care of landowners. They will appreciate anything, but mine look forward to the photo at the end of the season the most...

I'm putting. In a new gate and clearing some old barels off the place I hunt. Yhe place needs a new gate and some fence ran and I'm positive he will appreciate it.

If he's married I would get something for the wife and a small gift for the landowner. If you include the wife then your chances for next year are enhanced. We always did a bottle of wine with a ribbon on it and maybe a nice wine glass set for the wife.
