Can I feed bulk cotton seed to my sheep (painted desert and corsican) ? I just used the Ivomec to worm them so hopefully that went good.
Thanks for the help - I'm still waiting on my first lambs to drop- should be soon.

I have no Idea.I have never fed cotton seed just cotton seed meal mixed with other ingredients.I would think some type of mixed feed or pellet would be better. And with sheep don't put out feed free choice. Some don't know when to quit.

Cotton has such a high protein content don't wanna burn the semen, and don't want the ewes to be in such a high protein diet while pregnant, the lamb would grow too fast casuing birthing problems, zinc will help the ewes produce more milk, I think the antler max breeder has a lot of zinc in it, and with that deworming if they're too crazy to catch they do make de wormer pellet that work great
