If anyone is around now I would really appreciate some help. My truck is bad stuck near Ennis, and the landowners around don't have a 4WD. Help!

We talking needing just a truck with 4X4 or tractor type of stuck?

A 4x4 with mud tires might be able to do it, but I'm high centered. I'm on Walker Rd. It's a county road but it's muddy.
A tow service outside of waxahachie might be able to make this work in a couple hours with a tractor

I've got the 4X4 but my tires aren't in the shape that would be considered "mud tires".

Try to call the county commissioner for that precinct. If it's a county maintained road then they might help.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

Man you shoulda known that road was gonna be bad after yesterday's rain. Know where you were headed and it was probably a good move, but that road def needed a couple more days to dry.
How far down are you? Did you cross the tracks?

Highly doubt he made it to the tracks. Cant tell you how many times ive gone down there and said nope, not worth it. I bet its real bad right now, I feel for ya man. My opinion your going to need at least a 3/4ton with mudders in order to pull you out if not more. Wrecker probably will not even come close to you as they dont do the off road thing.
I will be in the area friday afternoon, if I can help in anyway let me know.

Hope you stopped by the ATM this morning because it sounds like this could get expensive for you.

I have a 1 ton with mud tires, but I'm in Austin, wish I was closer, I've been in that situation and it's not fun.

All the way to the tracks...
So far: 1. Walked to the house at the top of the hill, real nice guy but his tractor is out of commission. 2. Borrowed a shovel and walked back 3. Realized that wasn't going to work so went back up to the house 4. He got me the commissioners number who said their guys are busy all day 5. Flagged down a guy who runs an excavation service. They're on a job but will swing through this afternoon just in case. 6. Called the sheriff who found a wrecker company with a 4WD tractor 7. Guy at the house drove me back down on his 4wheeler carrying a hi-lift 8. Tried to jack it up and throw boards under 9. Tried to pull with the hi-lift off of a tree. 10. Waiting for the tractor...

Try calling Navarro county. They sent us a guy in a 80s model blazer on 44s with a 300 foot 20 ton military winch.

Ouch....hope youre ready for that bill... See if you can find a solid tree limb about 3-4 inches in diameter and cut (2) 3-4 ft sections of it. Strap them to the tires horizontally with the long end sticking out and try to slowly crawl yourself out. Ive done this a few times at my deer lease and it got my truck out easily.
