I am used to west texas mexican food. now that I am here in weatherford i can't find anything but doritos and ketchup served. It is hard to beat west texas mexican food. Rosa's is about as good as it gets around here. El Toritos here in weatherford was damn good, but it closed down. Where is your favorite mexican food place?

My favorite Mexican Food dish is a chicken breast grilled with onions and bell-peppers and smothered in white cheese. Every restaurant seems to call it something different but it's always good, regardless of the name.

May have to try Esperanza's.
Fort Worth has some great Mexican....the famous Joe T. Garcia's...get the chicken fajitas. And my personal favorite is El Rancho Grande. Both are north of downtown off of Main. Uncle Julio's @ I-30 and Camp Bowie is pretty good too.

The best in TX are the little Mom and Pop restaurants scattered all over West TX. They're killing me!
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Maybe it's different than the ones in Greenville and Sulpgur Springs, they are awful...

It's moved south on 34 toward Cash...it's real good, but the one in town is so much better and closer, I don't go down there much. Vicki goes down there for lunch some from L-3...

KD if you're used to west Texas mexican food you sure are going to miss asado. You can't find it up here. I was raised in Odessa and everytime I go back I fill up on asado.

I rarely drive down Ambler but did today and saw that. I wondered if it was any good. Is it a full on restaurant or a taco stand?

I like Chuy's in Plano and Don Carlos in Waco. I can hurt myself in both places.
back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf
