Help me out here guys, please!!! I bought a Yellow Jacket just a couple of months ago and it is already going in the garbage tomorrow morning. Do they make one that last! Please tell me which ones you guys have had the best luck with.

That's for sure those Yellow Jackets don't last long.
Have you tried the BLOCK?

The block or Cabelas version of it should do the trick. I have shot several broadheads at the Cabelas version and it seems to be holding up.

Thanks for the advice.

I don't know if I'm just expecting too much but the Yellow Jacket I have probably had between 1000-1500 broad heads in it. Would that be normal life expectancy for it? I'm just thinking for $60 it should last a little longer then that!

get a layered target and dont use braodheads. it will last forever.

damnnnn TXBH1, you aint no help! I want to shoot broadheads, not practice points!

For some reason my field points are about 4" or so off at 25 yards from my zero on my broadheads. My bow is tuned and it's right on the money and I've shot it through paper at two different distances to make sure the arrows are flying straight.

Notice what that 4-blade Muzzy did to that buck on Sunday morning?

Sorry about that.

I've had a black hole target for about a year now and it works fine, the trick is keeping it inside so it doesnt get weathered all nasty-like.

I will second that, keep it inside your garage or somewhere. It will lengthen the lifetime of your target and that goes for any target.

Thats what I have and it sits in the garage until the week before archery season starts...gets about 10 arrows flung at it and gets put up again. At this rate...I may still have the same target when I'm 40.

I shoot the Atom broadhead. It's guaranteed to group with field points of the same weight,it does, and it kills animals dead. I stopped destroying my targets with broadheads.

Oh, it's also made by a local Texan here in Texas.
