The hunting shows are pushing this hard. Has anyone tried it?

You will get as varied answers as if you were asking about buck candy.... Some on here swear about it, some think it's gimmick. A quick search will bring up some fun reads about it. Bottom line is its your dollar not ours, and you can spend it however you want. If you fee it is worth the investment, go for it and don't look back. Worst thing to do is regret a purchase, or regret not making one...do with your money what you fee is right and it will all work out in the end.

Yep, some swear by them so much, they run 2 or 3 machines at the same time. That is how good they work.
The guys on Car Talk chatted about miracle gizmos like the Vornado that were supposed to improve gas mileage in cars. They pointed out that the customers so desperately wanted these gizmos to work that they would unconsciously alter their driving habits and then proclaim success of the product.
All the hunt shows make Ozonics look good, right? They don't show the footage where they didn't work. Also, survey youtube and look at some of the show hosts that had Ozonics, but no longer are sponsored by Ozonics for some reason and not the product doesn't show up on the show anymore. If it was such a game changer, why would they not still use the product?
Save yourself some $$ and just hunt the wind.

Some on here swear about it, some think it's gimmick. Park me in the gimmick group please. It will do one thing real well...take money from your pocket and put it in theirs. Hunt the wind.

Even if it did work (which I don't think it does, at least not to the extent they claim), my hunting has never been so bad that I felt the need to spend $400 on one gadget to give some sort of perceivable edge. There's a lot of things I'd rather be spending my money on, and the wind is much cheaper. Oh, and by the way, the only way it can work for you is if you're hunting the wind incorrectly in the first place.

My deer are used to Red Seal Wintergreen Snuff. I truly believe they cant smell much of me over that powerful smell.

I work in the aquatics industry. We use ozone in place of chlorine on some high end pools. Our Ozone manufacturer makes a little ozone machine that uses a corona system. You can get these little systems from lots of companies for around $50. Just do a little googling. They will more than mask your scent. I'd give that a shot before I tried Ozonics.
...although I still think it's probably gimmicky.

Also important to note: ozone is VERY toxic and it should not be breathed.

Scientifically they do not work and the same science state that in order to make this a viable scent elimination option, you would need to use ozone levels that would kill you thus rendering any further hunting activities on your part useless.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

Unfortunately, the same chemical properties that allow ozone to alter organic material in the air also give it the ability to react with organic material inside the human body. Even low levels of ozone exposure can cause the following conditions:
coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath, wheezing, and throat irritation; worsened chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma; increased risk of developing bronchitis or pneumonia; and compromised ability of the body to fight respiratory infections.

A rabbits foot or a buckeye in the pocket works for me and they don't cost 3 or 4 hundred bucks.

I actually researched Ozonics when I heard about it. It sounded to good to be true and like most things it was. You can't fool nature. It been around way before us and will be there way after us. What I found was that Ozonics can work in theory but the level the machine would have put out would be dangerous to humans. It's a lot like scent lok and "reenergizing" the carbon in their clothes. You can't reenergized in a dryer. Temp required to do that is high. To me these products are on the same level as magic weight loss scams or MPG in your vehicle products. Its a money scam I wish I came up with.
