As long as you look good while doing is all that matters Walter  I never had much luck in that department either. I always get yelled at cause I wear my brown belt with black clothes, or grey pants and a grey shirt....  Walter

My daughter says that's "IN" I see guys wearing grey or blue suits with brown shoes..OMG, she says its in, also the suits young'uns wear these days don't even fit right, always look too small ok back to shooting, I agree you may suc but you gotta look good suking...

Alright you shooters! I put in 10 hours working on the range Tuesday, 8 hours yesterday, and have printed some paper targets for three stages and course of fire today.
No one stepped up to cook, so bring a lunch, water, and beer for when the shooting is over.
I added one stage for a total of 12, but only increased the round count by 3, for a total of 70 rounds. Bring 100 rounds, though.
There will be some thinking involved, several prone stages, and several barricade stages. Speed will matter on some stages but remember, you can't miss fast enough to win! It is going to be a fun match! We will only be in the sun for the very first stage, and will be in the shade the rest of the day. I cleared 1/4 of an acre immediately next to the platform to give everyone some shade trees to hang out under. Bring a chair for the times you may be waiting your turn to shoot. I made the time limits generous because I want everyone to shoot, not time out with rounds still in the magazine.
I bet I am throwing some stuff at some of yall that you have never done before. Don't get frustrated, learn from it and you'll be better for it. You will need a perfect 100 yard zero, and checking zero that morning is mandatory. Not every stage will be "long range" there are plenty of stages 400 yards and less.
Walk on shooters will be okay, if yall knew anybody that was on the fence about this match.
Spectators are welcome as well.

For the guys that are coming, is there anyone that has a 308 Win bolt gun rifle with a suppressor that would like to shoot some 200 grain Expanding HP subsonic rounds? I am finalizing my load for these, and I need more 308 rifles to test them in.
I am also bringing the same bullet to test as a cycling subsonic in a 308 gas gun. Thanks!

I'm out for Saturday fellas, I got so much [censored] goin on right now it's insane. I had aspirations of shooting and also bringing the smoker trailer out to cook lunch on, well I got three events to attend Saturday and the smoker trailer is still just a frame with wheels so it ain't gonna happen!

Looks like Jason has AGAIN, gone way above and beyond to make a great day for us to play with our toys we are normally saddled to shoot only at 100yrds. I'm lookin forward to seeing all you guys again and havin some fun.

By the way guys I'll have have a 16" 308 suppressed gas gun and 20" 308 supressed bolt gun for Chad. Not sure if he needs to test different lengths of barrels, but I do have it covered otherwise.

I have a 16.5" rem 700 in .308 I can bring if you want to do some testing with it chad. I don't have a suppressor tho but if someone does have one you're welcome to thread it up and test with it
