I bought some several times last year, but have been reluctant to lately. Is it too late to worry about it since I'm already on the grid? I'm having a hard time finding some .30-06 150gr. FMJ somewhere I can buy it in person and pay cash.

Go to the gun show at Big Town this weekend. Dallas Reloading usually has some 06 in FMJ. They are great people to do business with. Should be some other dealers with it too. Troy

I may have seen too many movies. BUT! I think if one buy ammo over the internet, with a credit card of course, that is traceable. If the stuff hits the fan, like so many of us are afraid of, I don't want "them" to know what I have.
Does that answer your question sir?

The first group they will go after are those with a CCL and then they will go after those that have purchased a hunting license. They may even be watching you post now, they already listen to your cell phone calls.

It just isn't going to happen that fast or dramatically. They won't want to do anything that would create a "flashpoint".
They'll even pass laws that they know we won't obey. They know that 10 or 20 years along, people WILL obey them.

There's a lot of that going around. I had a canoeing accident myself.
When they come for your ammo, just tell them you had a hard time getting your guns sighted in and shot it all up. And that you only have a few 1/2 boxes left.
