I need a little help here, please. I am trying to arrange a duck and goose hunt for this season for a group of six to eight experienced and serious waterfowl hunters. Texas only. Can someone recommend an outfit that provides good hunting and high end lodging? Thank you, Ray

What part of texas? I think the panhandle area is the best combo hunting in texas. \ I would say that is correct. The only problem you have up there is the lack of lodging. Or at least in the Lubbock area. The only outfitter I know that has a lodge is Crooked Wing Outfitters and it isn't nice by any means. Just a little old farm house with beds and couches and kitchen in it but it beats staying in a hotel. To the OP if you want to travel a little farther than Lubbock check out Tule Creek Outfitters out of Tulia. Dane has a very nice lodge (in my opinion) and if there any birds at all in the area he will put you on 'em! Also Ranger Creek would be another good option!
I'm with GK because I like salty old dudes.

If your willing to travel 45min into Louisiana, Hackberry Rod and Gun Club is the ticket for you. Book in November early December and you can do a Fin and Feather trip. http://www.hackberryrodandgun.com/
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

I'd stay off the coast. Head north west. You'll have to ask someone else about high end lodging. That's out of my league.

Rough Creek Lodge can't be beat for upscale lodging. They offer guided hunts of all kinds. Never done a duck hunt out there because of the free places I hunt in the same general areas they would. Some of their ponds are duck magnets.
