Want to get into bowhunting and don't know where to start. Any suggestions on what is a good bow to start with. Everyone has their own opinion, but just looking for direction>

There are many good bows out there. I would go to a local proshop and ask as many questions as possible. They may let you shoot some bows, and they will most likely be able to answer most questions. I would say for a good starter bow I would check out Reflex or PSE; but there are many other good bows out there.

I have been bow hunting for 6 years now and when starting i bought myself a PSE Nova which i like very much b/c of the acuracy and price. My setup cost around $350

I was in your shoes about six months ago. I would suggest, if you are sure you want to bowhunt for a few seasons, go with the best bow you can afford. I got a closeout Diamond Victory SC from Hunter's Friend in Kentucky (huntersfriend.com). A lot of the entry-level bows can be tougher to shoot and make the sport less fun. Above all, go with YOU like. You get what you pay for w/bows.

Since you are new to archery, go find a good bow shop and have them get you set up. Most shops are willing to help you out. they will get it all set up and usually help you with your shooting. See if you can find a club in your area and start shooting there. Most clubs are willing to help new guys out. Best of luck.
