Well here we go, project is finished with range results. Savage 110 long action, 7mm08, Criterion stainless 1 in 9 twist barrel 22" fluted by Kampfield Customs, MDT LSS chassis, Using AI 300 win mag mags, Fab Defence butt stock, SWFA medium rings, SWFA 3 x 15 x 42

Best Load, Varget 41.1 grains, Winchester brass, Remington primers, Hornady 162 A-Max set .020 off of ring lands

Stretched it out 100 to 500 yards. First time shooting past 300 yards, shot prone for the first time.
MIl/MIl scope(Just for Jason)
100 zero
200-.3
300-1.2
400-2
500-3.1
I do not have a crono

Wind was kicking around 8 to 12 half value left to right
Used electrical tape x 2 so I could see the X at 500 yards. Elec tape measure .75 in width.
2.5" c to c at greatest point measurement at 500 yards = .5 MOA (Top left to lower right)
Adjusted impact.

2 impacts .75" apart then the wind died on the third which it hit little over inch and a half to the left
Still 500 yards

Think the gun shoots better than me. I had a hard time seeing and holding on target at 500 yards. Maybe because it was the first time I did it. Used bi-pod and walnut sock.

I guess all in all I am pleased. A lot of first times. All three shot groups.

I bet it would have shot tighter groups if you chambered it in 6.5 Creed! lol35

Seriously, great shooting GLC and very nice looking build. I remember you being a great shot at Jason's first Hunter Rifle Challenge...you have skills my friend.

Good rifle, good bullet, good scope. It will do anything you want it to do, I bet. And who cares custom or semi-custom, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

Thanks, wasn't sure since this is my first chassis gun but I am pretty pleased with it.
