Browning BPS has worked well for me and they don't jam like the 870's do.

A camo 20 ga 11-87 that I bought my wife last turkey season. My 12 was my dad's and I am not taking it to the water.

Ithaca makes a nice 10ga if you don't mind carrying a telepone pole around.
back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf

I've got a weatherby SA-08 semi and I love it. Shot mossy and remi pumps...If i was going to shoot a pump I wouldnt shoot anything but the 870..but man..just fork over the extra cash and get the semi..You'll love it...I don't think I'll own anything other than the weatherby again.

Try the 870 wingmaster, we all have the express but it doesn't pump nearly as smooth as the wing master. You can always put camo tape on it.

Thanks for all the help. I will definitely look into the Extrema and Urika more (like them better than the SBE), but for some reason I just want a cool pump. Another one I wanna look at is the new Remington 887 in Max 4 when it comes out.

crazy horse shoots a double barrel 10 guage I have personally seen that gun drop ducks that hadn't even started their migration yet and he shot them from a blind in Ennis.
Hit the weight room and start now by letting a horse kick you in the shoulder 20 or so times a day and you should be ready for it.
It's true the percussion alone knocks them out of the air. PM Spanky, he saw one bird die as it burned up on re-entry into the atmophere.
Here is a snap shot of what the 10 Ga looks like from above the blind
Now in all honesty, I'd get the 870. I own the Mossberg 835, but you didn't list it. You may want to check it out as well, if not, like I said, go with the 870.

One more vote for the Mossy 835 if you want a good pump gun that handles 3 1/2 loads. My buddy shoots one, and has the money to shoot anything he wants, but he won't put down the 835.
I bought a 935 three years ago and it is a superb gun. Have had no trouble out of it, and it even digests heavy skeet load very well.

immortal...don't take an opinion so personal...it's just a shotgun and just because you own one and someone doesnt like them don't feel like that's a slight on you. For the money there isnt much wrong with the 835 or 935...I've really only heard good things.
I know with the 935 you are only suppose to shoot 3" shells and have heard it doesnt cycle dove loads very reliable but if it's a duck gun then that doesnt matter.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

I shot a Mossberg 835 ulti-mag and it worked great for me. It was cheaper than the 870, lighter, and shot 3.5 shells. I shot it for 5 seasons and never broke it down to clean it, it finally started jamming the last season but only becuase it got mud all in it, just squirted some oil in there and it was fine. If you want a gun you can feel good about throwing it in the mud and completely disrespecting it, get yourself a mossberg. It is my back-up gun.

Yeah, I know but I always hate it when someone comes on a thread just to bash something they don't like or know anything about. Like my momma always said, if you don't have anything good to say, then STFU. LOL/jk
I agree with you, of course, that they are good guns for their intended purpose. It does say on the barrel of my 935, for 3" and 3 1/2" only, but it handles the heavy/premium 2 3/4" target load very well. I actually love to shoot skeet with it...hardly ever miss.
My best buddy who is a cop found a brand new Nova sitting at the end of a boat ramp a couple of years ago when we were all launching our boats. He still owns that gun, but almost NEVER uses it except to loan it out to a newbie w/o a gun. He just doesn't like it, and says it jams a little too often. Instead, he always shoots his 835, and laughs about how well it works after 5 years and never been cleaned.
To each his own I guess.
