New to suppressors. New to ARs for that matter. I know this may be a broad question - but any of you all with experience have any recommendations on AR-15 suppressors? Looking for quality, willing to pay up. Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to buy only one I'd look at the Silencerco saker 7.62. It is extremely modular and will work with just about any firearm you may want to use in the future. It is a QD mount of can be direct thread. Also you can put a 5.56 end cap on it and it is then quieter than their 5.56 Saker. If you want something light weight look at Crux suppressors titanium cans. Their quality is top notch.

Maybe not so much on the omega though, in case you were headed that route.

Omega is rated for full auto. Harvester is not.

X2 - research only takes you so far! and it seems that suppressors are coming out quicker than before too, every time i look there's a new model or brand out.

The Saker was definitely the cool kid on the block. But the mounting system gets stuck sometimes and tough to unattach.
The Surefire has one of the best mounting systems without a doubt. But its suppression isn't as good as the others but it was built for durability and accuracy above all else.
I just ordered a Dead Air Sandman after seeing videos of how it mounts up. Seems pretty solid and I don't think it'll suffer the same problems as the Saker getting stuck.

AAC 7.62 SDN, run it on my AR-10, 300BO, and 5.56 SBR's. Will be buying a few more before 41P comes down hard in May.

YHM Ti QD (30 Cal) SilencerCo Saker 7.62
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I have two Surefire SOCOM 7.62. I use them on both my AR and bolt action 308s/556s. I haven't seen any impact on accuracy. I like them. I don't have any experience with other suppressors.
God bless John Wayne!

Do AR15's need a adj. gas block to use a suppressor? Nope. It may run better with one, but I haven't had a customer come in needing one after we sold them a can.

Do AR15's need a adj. gas block to use a suppressor? Depends what caliber/ammo/gun setup. I have problems with a mil spec buffer spring shooting my .300 blk with subsonic ammo. Won't eject shells. Solution is use a different buffer spring or get an adjustable gas block.

You don't change the spring, you change the weight of the buffer.

I have two Saker 762s, an SDN-6, and a Harvester.
The SDN-6 is solid, and I use it on a few platforms. There's much hub-up about the lock-up being weak between the can and muzzle. Two of my muzzles lock great, and two have a bit of wobble that I need to get around to fixing with a 5 minute dremel job.
The Harvester is really light, but won't take the abuse and short barrels that the Sakers and SDN-6 do.
Saker 762 is my favorite. Muzzle lock is great (relatable accuracy), it's silent and tough. best of all, it;s modular. So, I can upgrade it should some new muzzle device or end cap come along.
If SilencerCo comes out with a Saker 762k, that'll be my next can. But if I had to pick one, it'd be the standard Saker 762. YMMV.
Omega is another can to check out. If I didn't already commit to the Trifecta mount, I'd be looking hard at that.
