Model 12 Long Range Precision (LRP).

Haven't got to shoot it yet. Just got the scope and got it mounted this weekend. Bipod will be here today...
Hope to get to the range for initial sight in and trigger time this weekend.

Exact gun I'm looking for. I bet I have to pay taxes on a new one dern it. Someone sell me theirs! Lol

You missed this on in the classifieds then, lucky for me... I picked it up NIB from a member here. I had been looking for quite a while when I stumbled on this one...

It won't be till the end of this week, maybe next week anyway. Oh well. Everything happens for a reason. Let's see a range report when you get yours out! I predict one jagged hole pics is what we'll see

Check out the model 10 Predator Max 1 as well, tends to get great reviews and is less $. 24" fluted medium-weight barrel, Accustock, Accutrigger.

I would avoid Accustocked rifles unless you are planning on leaving the factory stock on it. I havent checked in the last 18 months or so but last year when I built my rifle the stock options were limited to none for accustock rifles.

Ok I'm confused now. I thought an accu stock was just the stock. If a savage has this stock, is the action different in any way?

I have no idea what he's talking about. I got an Accustock Savage the year they came out then had a McMillan A-5 built for it months later. That may have been five years ago. 4.40" screw spacing is all you need to tell them.

And yes the actions are the same.

Just telling you what I was told when I called Stocky's stocks looking for a manners T5A..... Couldnt tell you anything else about it as I bought a bare bones action for the build instead of the Accustocked rifle I originally was going to use. Havent thought anything about it since.

EDIT: Just called Savage to verify and like is said above the actions are the exact same so forget what I was told. I cant get it to let me edit the post above.
