I've owned 2 Polaris side by sides in the past, one XP 800 and a crew. The rides were awesome. I'm wanting another one as my back just doesn't like the beating of my Honda Rancher.
Can you please tell me your experience and opinions on ride quality ( side by sides ) for Honda , Yamaha's, Kawasaki's, 570 Polaris, or any of the other name brands that I know I missed?
I only put at the most 100 miles a year on one so I'll just get an extended warranty and that'll last me for a long time.
Thanks for your help.

My 14 crew 900 is night and day difference over my 800 crew. This 900 rides like a caddy. And I can carry on a conversation without yelling while driving it. The new 900's are quiet until you really step on the throttle.

I bought a new 900 crew November 2014. Turned 405 hours yesterday afternoon. Best ride I've had.

Thanks cyber, arctic cat is one of the ones I'll check out.
guess I'll head to Ennis Powersports and see if they have any 900 demos.
Thanks guys, keep the ideas coming please. Really don't want to spend 14 or 15 thousand. Was trying to keep it around 10 or so, maybe 12 if it's loaded out.

For that price look at the used market. Good deals there.

Ranger (14) crew owner myself, the best of all of 'em IMO. If the deer is to heavy to get in the back by myself I drag it in the back seat floor board no problem.

My Polaris RZR-S can carry 740 and tow 1500. It's the long travel suspension and it just floats. The bike will go faster than I will, I had it to 55 with half a pedal to go. If you're ever up in McKinney, come take it for a ride, make me an offer if you like it. It's got just about every option the PO could have ordered it with.

I have a 14 Crew 900 that I now have over 4,000 miles on. It has been exceptional. I greatly prefer it to the mules and kubota side by sides I have used.

What year is your side by side, shotgun? '11 RZR S. Been an awesome bike, but it mostly just holds down the garage floor anymore. On the one hand I could probably find a way to use the money from selling it, on the other it's just so danged much fun every time you turn the key.

I own a 15 polaris 570 midsize. Ride is very smooth, and the engine is very peppy. And I bought mine out the door for the price you are looking at. I researched a lot before I bought it, noting but good reviews. They gave the 15 model more hp and is a redesigned frame. Also, if you work the polaris web site right, you can get $250 upgrades and a free 2year extended warranty.

just curious, why not buy a clean used Isuzu Trooper or 4Runner or even a jeep for that matter? I have a Kubota RTV that I use all the time but it's not the smoothest ride and kinda noisy but its a work horse and will easily get 4000-4500 hours before needing any engine work. I've been pondering moving to a 2 row (4 seater) but the cost is just mindboggling what some people put into these things. My BIL has a Trooper rigged out that will go anyplace any of our UTV/SxS will go, with heat & ac and still streetable for a fraction of the cost.

PMK, for me it's about pulling it to and from the lease. No place to keep it at the lease plus I know NOTHING about auto repair so an older vehicle would probably leave me walking at some point. Granted, a new UTV can leave me walking also but at 100 miles a year a UTV should last me 'til I'm gone.

I have a 2013 prowler and it has been incredible, it's louder than a polaris, but I haven't gotten it stuck and I have taken it through all kinds of terrain while Hunting. it carries a big payload on a short wheel base. but this discussion is no different than Ford vs Dodge. Arctic cat has been around and have some good engines, and a solid product.
Just my 2 cents

Well, did you pull the trigger on one yet? Wound up getting a 570 Polaris full size from action powersports in Ennis. They're going to deliver it in a few weeks after I get the old fence at my house torn down and the new one up.

Yup, some of y'all are Blessed to be able to have/take the time to use your stuff alot. Mine sits waiting most of the time until I get the rare chance to use it. Trying to change that this year and next season ....... we'll see.

Same here...Use the Snot out of mine, just had this discussion this weekend and there are Pros and Cons to all. The Ranger 900 Crew has been hands down my smoothest ride and the Cargo ability is perfect for my set up. Good Luck and you can never go wrong with a Ranger

I have 4 rangers various year models, I do not see many brands take the abuse my employees put them thru daily. I will say that my main ride I do all of my hunts out of, I have kevlar tires. For 4 years I have drove over anything in my path with out a second thought, not 1 flat or low tire. There is just no comparison in dependability. I will take a ranger tricked out any day.
