General Season: November 1, 2008-January 4, 2009. Buck bag limit: 2, to include no more than one with an inside spread of 13 inches or greater. Antlerless bag limit: 2. A legal buck deer is a deer having at least one unbranched antler, or an inside spread of 13 inches or greater. The inside spread requirement does not apply to to any buck having an unbranched antler. These provisions do not apply on properties for which Level 2 or Level 3 MLDPs have been issued.

From Thanksgiving Day through the Sunday immediately following Thanksgiving Day, antlerless deer may be taken without antlerless deer permits unless MLDP antlerless or LAMPS permits have been issued for the tract of land. On USFS, Corps of Engineers, and Sabine River Authority lands, the take of antlerless deer shall be by permit only. If USFS antlerless, MLDP antlerless, or LAMPS permits have been issued, they must be attached to all antlerless deer harvested from the tract of land. From the first Saturday in November through the day before Thanksgiving Day, and from the Monday immediately following Thanksgiving Day through the end of the season, antlerless deer may be taken only by USFS antlerless, MLDP antlerless, or LAMPS permit.

Special Youth-Only Season: Early open season: October 25-26, 2008. Late open season: January 17-18, 2009.

Bag limits, provision for the take of antlerless deer, and special requirements of the county, shall be as specified for the period November 27-30, 2008.

Licensed hunters 16 years of age or younger may hunt deer by any lawful means during this season.

As long as you have LAMPS or MLD permits, then you are bound by those limits not the county limit

We were on a place that had LAMPS permit (one) and actually restricted our doe harvest more than the weekend at thanksgiving would have...

He was asking about youth weekend only which you can hunt does there regardless of permit.
