Location matters, the same looking/perception of a rack on a panhandle deer compared to the body will be vastly different from a hill country or south texas or east texas deer

What makes you so sure you can get within 15" of a deer's score from looking at a picture Honestly, I think that most don't necessarily lie. Could be that they don't know how to score, someone else scored it that doesn't know how to score, they read the score on the score sheet wrong, added wrong, etc. I have seen someone post the score sheet on this forum after they were questioned and the 4 looked like a 9 on the score sheet. They added 50 points to the score from a 140 something to a 190.... Also, I have seen pictures of a 125" deer that people guessed at 145" and seen pictures of 150" deer that everyone guesses at 125". Pictures arent always that easy to score from. I agree with the rest of your statement Take it east on him he has a while 16 posts he must be a know it all

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

So Okla has a different scoring system Sure they do? Ever seen an Oklahoma woman? An oklahoma 10 is a Texas 6.

They only score that high if they have a double wide instead of a FEMA trailer, most of their teeth, can cook a mean bath tub of crank and their sister can live with you too! So Okla has a different scoring system Sure they do? Ever seen an Oklahoma woman? An oklahoma 10 is a Texas 6.

I would just like to say that most of the scores I've seen posted this year seem pretty accurate. Maybe the liars know that it just won't fly anymore.

To this day, I don't know how to score a deer, and I don't care to learn. I think it's silly. In this house, we eat what we harvest. Some years the corresponding antlers make for a nice conversation piece, some years they don't.

I think most on here do a pretty good job of estimating score off pictures, usually +/-, 5-10" which really isn't that bad with picture angles, lighting and usually having no references for mass, etc. The more egregious misses I have seen on here usually involve "canned" trophy hunts and also when the kids harvest bucks that get purported much higher scoring than it obviously is. That said, my son or daughter have not taken a buck yet so I'd maybe be guilty of that one as well once happens, lol...
