i just bought a dpms ar 10 and want a new trigger installed. if anybody on the forums does this and can give me some prices i would greatly apreciate it! you would think if you buy a $1100 rifle they would put a decent trigger in it.

Stock trigger is crap.. I second Morgan at dallas shooting supply if you just want to throw your money away, but it is 2 pins to install one. Very very easy to do. Look at youtube.

Timney, Geissele or CMC and you'll be happy. There's no need for a "custom" ar10 trigger

I just put a Timney in my AR15. Think it took longer to find my allen wrenches than it did to put the trigger in. If your capable of turning a screw you can install yourself.

Geissele runs great. As far as trigger installation, watch a few youtube videos, save 40+ bucks.

Another vote for Geissele or CMC. For a service rifle, I'd go Geissele, for target/hunting I'd go CMC, but it's splitting hairs. The CMC is slightly easier to install, if you're doing it yourself.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Another vote for the Geissele triggers. Love my SSA-E.
Also shot my buddies AR and he has an AR Gold trigger in his, turned down pretty low. Very nice trigger as well.

thanks for the info now i just need to find somebody that will say i got one and can install it. If you can hammer a nail you can remove the factory trigger and install a CMC in about 3 minutes.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

if you have to pay someone else to do it for you, you have no business owning an AR

I like the Wilson Combat single stage TTU triggers over everything else and have 4 of them. You can order them set at 3lbs, that is what is coming in my Wilson Combat 18" AR10 arriving tomorrow!
Timney, CMC, Geiselle, etc.., are all great triggers Good luck
