Someone told me years ago about a masonic lodge pheasant hunt somewhere in the Panhandle.
Does anyone know how I would find more info or contacts someone?

Might check Stanfield Outfitters out of Knox City, we went there a few years ago and had a blast.

The boys and girls clubs out there also run hunts as fund raisers! Prices are cheap and birds are plentiful!

The guys and gals that put these hunts on know that nobody wants to drive all the way up here and not see anything. Many of them have started planting pen raised birds to ensure a decent hunt. Of course this is not the case later in the season as the hawks, coyotes and hunters pick them off. With that being said, the wild population has made a huge turn around from last year and there are lots of wild birds to go after.
