So I'm sitting in the stand sweating my rear off and trying not fall out from swatting at all the Nats and wasps flying around. Just saying I'm ready for cold weather. I just hope I see something this afternoon.

WeatherBug now shows a low of 35 in Central East Texas on Opening Morning. If that holds true, it should sound like a war as hunters start busting caps on moving deer and hogs.

Saw a good bit last night but nothing to shoot. Just got in the blind this morning and found a 4ft snake skin. Thats quite the unwelcome sight.

Well I set out yesterday evening to stand I was hoping to shoot a black buck doe from however I blew my chance before I could even get the ATV parked. Saw 11 deer but no shooters. This morning it was a tad bit chilly but had a pair of nice 8pts show up. I was going to shoot 1 but I kept talking myself out of it so finally I just let him walk. You know how that goes. I'm already kicking myself.
