Not many, but I really haven't been looking. I'll get interested when it get closer to the opener of big duck.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Scouted Ray Roberts today while we were fishing, saw a ton of birds. The water level is good and there's plenty of vegetation. This is definitely going to be a good year.

I'll be nice.

Pervis, those are cormorants. Can't shoot em, they aren't ducks. When you're out there, watch their wingbeats a ways off, ducks are a lot faster and commies will glide every 5-6 wingbeats.. no other waterfowl do that.

Happy hunting and remember sunset is a time, not when it gets dark cheers

I saw a lot of ducks on several ponds driving between Floydada and Post today. I also saw a couple small groups of Canadas in the fields.

We had a few hundred ducks a couple days ago on a private soil conservation lake we hunt south of Abilene.

Especially if you keep talking about it!

I would suggest you not go by yourself until you can identify a duck in the air. Might be a much cheaper alternative for you. Wouldn't want you to post a pic on here of a restricted bird, or get checked in the field. (hope this doesn't come across in the wrong way)
