A picture from while I was in the blind Saturday afternoon. I was trying to hold out for the bucks that normally come in after them but they didn't come. I will try again this weekend and I might just have to take a doe this time. Checking the camera at lunch time today. We'll see what I find.

You have plenty of time to get your does. I would leave it undisturbed and let the ladies gather until the bucks come calling, which they should be any day now where your hunting.

It was cut last year in Nov and Dec. I was able to hunt Oct but had to pull my stuff out after that. The property is bow only even in regular season.

They are growing in numbers. From 6 to 7 now, and there's at least 4 bucks that I have seen. Only 1 that is a shooter so far. 2 years ago I had 5 shooters in the same spot. I was able to take a nice 10 point in 2012. Hopefully the rest are still around. There's not much hunting pressure where I'm at. Just nearby traffic and old age to worry about.
