That's where the largest population of La. bears reside and there are no boundaries to prevent them from roaming into S/E Ark. So I would think that the S/E corner of Ark. would have the highest population. Could be wrong, though.

The state is broken up into two zones. I hunted there last year a killed a Pope and Young bear. There is plenty of public land to hunt but you can only bait on private.
