I have a 12ft Alumacraft that I use to get to my duck hunting spots. I use it on a few of the nearby rivers and it carries two people, gear and dog good enough. I have a MK 45lb trolling motor on it. Like most red blooded Americans... I want to go faster! I have been looking for a 2.5hp-5hp tiller motor but the ones in the price range our "vintage" (nothing wrong with being old) just saying.

Any experience running two transom trolling motors? I know I wont go too much faster but I believe it will help with torque and such.

I posted this here to get some waterfowlers' perspective.

Why not just get a bigger trolling motor?
