Was thinking about taking my son down to the coast in November for some duck hunting. It would be the first time for both of us. Can anyone make any recommendations on locations or guides? What would be a reasonable price per gun for a reputable guide? Is it possible to have a good time (get a few shots off) without spending an arm and a leg?

What's an arm and a leg to you? 150-200 a hunt each is normal. Head towards corpus area.

What's an arm and a leg to you? 150-200 a hunt each is normal. Head towards corpus area. Would think 150 would be doable. Was not wanting to spend more than 200 for sure. Is further south better? i.e. Corpus better than closer to Houston?
