Had a great shoot Sunday a.m. Hadnt been able to get out due to work, etc. so was really glad it all came together.
Since I hadn’t scouted anything out, decided to hit up the local public lake. Got to the main ramp about 2hrs before LST. Sure enough, didn’t take long for the parade of boats to start showing up. Watched transom lights heading across the lake for about 30min. After the third boat disappeared into a small cove, decided that must be the ticket. Put in and headed that way.
I haven’t had a chance to dust off the deeks, check lines, etc. so just brought a stool and a single dove mojo. Half way up the slough, I see one group setting up on a shallow point. Looked like they had a really good set up so pulled in about 100yds up wind from them between their spread and the mouth of the cove.
Long story short, shot a limit of six in about 20minutes. Fellas on the point had only splashed a couple (the ones that got past me!) so I got out of there and let them have at it. Cant wait to do it again this weekend.

This is gonna be good.

Man, I don't know what to even say. I know Granger and a lot of the people that hunt and fish it and you best be careful doing that type of stuff OP. Glad I don't duck hunt.
